Superstar Wrestler, Hulk Hogan Wrestles With Death, Dies Aged 71

Terry Bollea, popularly known as Hulk Hogan, one of the most popular professional wrestlers of all times who contributed significantly towards making WWE a global sport, has passed away after wrestling with death on Thursday, aged 71.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that Hulk Hogan was confirmed dead a few minutes after he reportedly suffered a heart attack and collapsed in his Florida, United States (U.S.) home.
The WWE posted on its official X handle that a call was placed and medics were sent to Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Florida. He was stretchered into an ambulance.
“WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away."
It further announced that "One of pop culture’s most recognisable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends and fans.”
The wrestling legend retired in 2012.
He rose to fame with the then WWF in 1980s.
The WWE legend’s televised debut was in 1979.
