Nigeria Former President, Goodluck Jonathan, has congratulated Donald Trump on his recent electoral win, calling it a testament to strong leadership and a symbol of Americans' trust in his vision.
In a message posted on his official X account on Sunday, Jonathan extended his best wishes to Trump on becoming the 47th President of the United States.
Jonathan voiced hope that Trump’s term in office would advance the “American Dream” and foster global peace and stability.
He wrote, “I warmly congratulate you on your election as the 47th U.S. President. Your decisive victory reflects the American people's confidence in your leadership and future vision.
"I am hopeful that your administration will not only uplift the American dream but also support the cause of peace, stability, and progress worldwide.
“Once again, accept my heartfelt congratulations," he concluded.
