Southeast Will Not Protest Against Tinubu's Government -Governor Uzodinma

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has urged Southeast Youths to resist calls for protests against the Government, claiming such actions are led by enemies of the country aiming to destabilize the National Government. 

He issued this warning in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State, during the grand finale of the All Progressive Congress (APC) campaign for the local Government election. 

OPEN TELEVISION Naija reports that according to Uzodinma, there is no reason for the people of the region to protest against the current Government, as the Federal Government and President Bola Tinubu are working diligently to address economic challenges. 

He appealed for more time for the Government to resolve these issues, stating, "To the youths of the southeast, because we are on the path of growth, our enemies are trying to disorganize the national government."

"They will come to you and ask you to protest, but ask them where their children are. Why should you be the one to protest, and protest against what?."

"This Government is our Government. The Government of President Bola Tinubu is our Government. So, no one from the Southeast will protest. We are not aggrieved, we have hope."

"Whatever they say, this Government is barely one year in office. Yes, we are aware of the hardship, we know things are hard. But I promise you, the President is working very hard to release funds to the people, deliver infrastructure, and enhance food security. Follow your leaders and work with them," Uzodinma concluded.
