Sanwo-olu Shows Off His Cooking Skills With Chef T at Lagos Food Festival, Pledges to Cook More Governance, Growth for SMEs

The Governor of Lagos state, Mr. Bababajide Sanwo-olu got tongues salivating over the weekend, as he displayed his personal cooking skills at the Lagos Food Festival alongside popular Nigerian Foodpreneur, Chef T, pledging to cook more good governance for Lagos.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the governor sparked a cacophony of reactions of Lagosians as he kitted up in his kitchen apron at the Lagos Food Festival 2024 themed “A Taste of Culture.
Describing his experience and conviction about the encounter on his official x handle @ jidesanwoolu the governor recounted that, "I had a good time showcasing my cooking skills with Chef T. "
He however went further to clarify that beyond showing off his good cooking skills, cooking good governance for Lagos state is his primary mission and focus
In his words, "We are all about boosting small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in the food scene and over the past five years, my team and I have been dedicated to empowering small businesses through public-private partnerships, which has sparked a vibrant community of 'agripreneurs' in Lagos. "
Sanwo-olu further emphasized that, "The food festival isn’t just about fun; it’s a launchpad for culinary talent and innovation. Year after year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems has stepped up, making this festival bigger and better. It’s incredible to see so many people connecting and thriving because of it," noting that the collaboration between the government and the private sector exemplifies what makes Lagos so special. I’m excited about what we’ve achieved and look forward to more amazing initiatives ahead.", Sanwo-olu said we some degrees of fulfillment.
OTN News further reports that while on the one hand, the governor's actions at the Lagos Food Festival got many people,especially Netizens, who watched the pictures and videos of the experience salivating,, the action on the other hand got many tongues wagging as some netizens wondered if the Governor is actually all out to bid for a third term iin office as Lagos Governor, given the quantum of hard work he is putting into the governance of the aquatic state, abd Nigeria's Centre of Excellence.
In all, Mr.Babajide Sanwo-olu has been commended by many Lagosians for his giant developmental strides even as Lagosians continued to call his attention to the need for policy continuity in the area of environmental sanitation, noting that the greater Lagos dresm involves a clean Lagos bequated to the state by past administrations innthe state.
