Sanwo-Olu Shifts 2026 Calendar, Sends Romantic Tributes to His Wife on Her 59th Birthday

The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has set the Internet on fire following a terse but strongly worded romantic birthday message he sent to his wife on her 59th birthday.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the governor of the aquatic state took to his personal social media handles to appreciate his wife, Mrs. Claudina Ibironke Sanwo-Olu.
The post, sighted by OTN News, reads, "Happy birthday dear Ibijoke, my wife of inestimable value."
It further gets more personal and particularly romantic as it reads, "You’re beautiful inside and outside. Your love, care, and compassion are not only for the home front but spread to the good people of our dear State."
Mr. Sanwo-Olu adds words of prayers to the post saying, "As you celebrate, I pray that God will grant you more grace, health and wisdom to contribute more to our administration’s realisation of the THEMES+ agenda.
"Happy birthday my darling," the down-to-earth Lagos Governor said.
Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu
(née Carrena) was born on 8 January 1967).
She is a Nigerian medical doctor and administrator who has been the first lady of Lagos State, Nigeria, since 2023 lending crucial support to deepening the spread of dividends of democracy to the most vulnerable groups in the society in her capacity as the First lady of the Lagos Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu worked for the Lagos State Government for 25 years, rising through the ranks to become the Chief Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer at Harvey Road Comprehensive Health Centre in Yaba before she was transferred to the General Hospital in Somolu.
It is documented that she has directly touched the lives of scores of Lagosians having supported approximately 350 residents from all 57 local government areas and local council development areas through vocational training and financial grants.
OTN News today joins the Lagos Governor and all Lagosians to celebrate the delectable First Lady of Lagos State on the auspicious occasion of her 59th birthday which she shares with Ogun Deputy Governor, Engr. Mrs. Noimot Salako-Oyedele.
