Sanwo-Olu Lauds Nigerian Creatives at Lagos Canvas

Lagos State Governor, Mr.Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commended members of the Nigerian arts and creative economy describing their contributions to the global economy as too significant to be ignored.

Sanwo-Olu, who proudly took to his official X handle to reflect on the significance of the Lagos Canvas said, "Today, I attended Lagos Canvas, a celebration of music, film, fashion, and art, organized by The British Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Jonny Baxter, in partnership with Mo Abudu, the CEO of EbonyLife Media."

The governor, who noted that the event showcased a lineup of local artists, filmmakers, and fashion designers, each presenting their unique perspectives and contributions to the cultural landscape of Lagos, commended the Deputy British High Commission for staging the initiative in partnership with one of Nigeria's finest arts giants, Mo Abudu.

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News recalls that the Lagos State Government under Mr.Babajide Sanwo-Olu started the new year 2025 by staging a world-class, star studded Cross Over show which paraded Nigerian Artistes like Burna Boy, Olamide, Seyi Vibes, Whiz kid, Tiwa Savage, among others.
