FCT Minister Nyesom Wike Spotted Playing Table Tennis Amid Health Speculations

Reports reaching the news desk of OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News have it that amid recent speculations about his state of health, the Minister of the Federal Capital. Nyesom Wike was spotted playing table tennis at the residence of Senator Barry Mpigi.

The video of Wike playing Table Tennis which went viral was reportedly uploaded online by his Special Assistant, Lere Olayinka, who threw jabs at the perceived political enemies of the Minister, saying, "This video of Wike playing Table Tennis may not go down well with some people who have not done a simple medical test of themselves in the last ten years yet, they want to play the role of health monitor on other people"

The FCT Minister, who was recently speculated to have fallen down in his bathroom, develope a partial stroke and subsequently, got flown abroad, was over the the weekend seen in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, engaging in a ping pong match.

This comes amid renewed claims on some social media platforms alleging that Wike is either sick or dead.

Similarly, a social media handle, Biafra Reggae Music, had claimed that “Wike is dead.”

However, recent activities of the FCT Minister have proved the rumours of ill-health or death being peddled against him are both spurious claims and a pack of false news.
