‎Meanwhile, the Heritage Day, which is now in its 7th edition is being organised by the Association of Yorubas in Diaspora South Africa(AYIDSA) under the able leadership of Dr. Olusola Agbeniyi is the President.

‎AYIDSA is a registered association of Nigerian professionals of Yoruba extraction residing in South Africa. It uses the annual Heritage Day to promote brotherhood, nation-building and preserve its cultural heritage as an ethnic nationality in Nigeria.

‎The invited keynote speaker for this year’s edition, Dr. Jane Mufamadi, from the country’s Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, is expected to dissect the celebration topic titled, ‘Unity through Culture: Advancing Communities, Driving Development.’

‎Earlier before departing Nigeria for South Africa ahead of the celebration scheduled to commence today around 3pm, Nigerian Time, Adeyemo said he was fully prepared for the auspicious occasion, which he added, would provide him an ample opportunity to unite not just with the Yoruba ethnicity in South Africa, but also other Nigerians and the black communities in general.

‎According to him, it will be a unique forum to handle the needs of Nigerians living in South Africa who have shown interest in the integrity- personified Pelican Valley brand of real estate projects.

‎Dr Adeyemo, an anti-corruption ambassador, said the event has culture, business and investment trappings, stressing that on the sideline, he will guide potential investors living in South Africa on the salient indexes, opportunities and pitfalls to watch out in Nigeria’s real estate sector.

‎According to him, the essence is to encourage more people in diaspora and the Nigerian government to engage in purpose-driven remittance by way of foreign and non-oil investment, in a bid to help create wealth, job opportunities, bridge the widening housing deficit, while strengthening the nation’s foreign exchange and building solid, viable and secured retirement plans back home for the diaspora.

‎Adeyemo further revealed that it will also be a time for Nigerians in South Africa to be aware of the Pelican Valley’s cutting-edge eco-friendly and tech – driven smart homes at Ecostay Apartments, kobape, built with sustainable materials, innovative design principles to minimise carbon footprint and to create a truly befitting environment for them back home.

‎Adeyemo said: “Our flagship which is the Ecostay Apartments which began as an extension of Pelican Brief Estate is more than just a place to live. 45 mins away from Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja. 1 hour 10 minutes from the Muritala Muhammad international airport and less than fifteen minutes drive from the Ogun State Governor’s Office. The Ecostay apartments are a statement of intent and deliberateness. We have incorporated cutting-edge eco-friendly technologies, sustainable materials and innovative design principles to minimise our carbon footprint. In fact, every detail has been carefully considered to create a truly befitting eco-friendly environment.

‎”Imagine a life where every day feels like a retreat and a community that prioritises the planet, without compromising on luxury.

‎”Let me specifically highlight some of the salient features to treasure at the Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments. Our estate, which has a full government approved-layout and building approvals, is also fortified with armed security guards. It is provided with energised 33 KVA/500 KV public power, equipped with 90 percent industrial solar street lights and paved with interlocked roads.

‎”Our unique residential project also has provisions for a purpose-built lounge, bar and mini club; basketball, lawn tennis, badminton courts, worship centers, as well as swimming pool. a mini zoo where camels, peacocks and other delightful animals are equally on display. In addition, the estate has a close proximity to our Greenish Acres Farm, where organic and fresh meals are processed. Above all, Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments is easily accessible less than 20 minutes drive to the Abeokuta Central Business District, the new train station and also, we are just a 50 minutes drive, to the Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, Lagos.

‎”The comfort and well-being of our clients are of paramount importance to us. The Pelican Ecostay Apartments is meant to take our clients away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos and Abeokuta metropolis and bring them to a serene area which is hundred percent eco friendly. By the grace of God, we are looking forward to turning it into tourist attractions and plans are underway to host the first weekly show there in the next 18 or 24 months.

‎”Interestingly, we have received another government approval for the extension of the Pelican Brief Estate. We are extending it by another 600 plots and even with the extension, we are planning a closure on land sales. We want to continue to add value by building more tastefully finished apartments for sales instead of selling lands. Hopefully in about a month or two, we will stop selling lands in Pelican Brief. We will concentrate on building apartments for sale at the Ecostay Apartments.

‎”So, this is the right opportunity for our brothers and sisters in diaspora to pick interest in our real estate products and invest in any of them. It has high ROI. We have been in the business for 10 years officially. We have no record of any negative case or review, we have never been involved in unethical business practices and we have never even been to any court for any case. We have not been to the police station either. To crown it all, God has really delivered the project for us, including the recent launch of the Ecostay Apartments.

‎”It is worth mentioning again that our housing repayment plan offers a zero percent interest rate, with no variations or hidden charges. However, default charges may be incurred if payments are not made as scheduled. But let me assure our clients and prospective clients that they will enjoy it more and have access to a range of other exclusive benefits and amenities.”
