Pa Yemi Elebuibon Advocates Use of African Native Intelligence for Paternity Test, Oath of Office for Politicians
Renowned Ifa Priest, Pa Ifayemi Elebuibon Calls for Use of African Native Intelligence(ANI) for Paternity Tests, Political Oath of Office

A popular Osogbo-based Ifa Priest, Oloye Ifayemi Elebuibon has advocated use of traditional deities to ascertain the paternity of children who may be in contention.
Pa Ifayemi Elebuibon made this position of recourse to native intelligence known following increasing reported cases marital infidelity and the attendant cases of paternity fraud of children in Nigeria, leading to broken marriages and many violent domestic crimes in the country in recent times.
The traditionalist who decried the recent rise in the cases of paternity fraud, advised that anyone interested in resolving paternity controversies can consider use of Yoruba traditional means which he described as African Native Intelligence(ANI).
Pa Ifayemi Elebuibon who spoke to journalists in his residence in Osogbo, Osun State capital.
According to him, the Yoruba traditional means of determining the paternity of a child is more reliable than the Deoxyriboucleic Acid formst popularly known as DNA.
“Since many families cannot afford the cost of DNA test, it is better to use our local traditional means which we have in Yoruba land to determined such paternity cases involving many families nowadays”
The Ifa priest while saying total rejection of Yoruba culture was responsible for the high rate of infidelity in marriage, said the race had enough traditional means to determine a child’s paternity that could be considered by whoever was interested in such investigation.
In his words “Yoruba has traditional DNA and they are very potent. They vary from one family or compound to another.
“We are having a high rate of cases of paternity fraud now because people of our race have decided to abandon what belongs to them and embrace foreign religions.
“In Yoruba culture, even during childbirth, paternity of a baby can be determined. In my own compound, those days, a new wife would take oath before the Ogun shrine to remain faithful to only her husband.
“Traditionally, there are several ways we can determine the paternity of a child, adding that“ Those means are cheap and safe but our people are not interested in them. They are the alternative available for those interested.”
The Yoruba native priest further submitted that it was high time political office holders and politician started using traditional means to take oath of office so that the rate of embezzlement, stealing of public funds and corruption while in office will stop.
“Yes, if president, governors, senators and other political office holders use ‘sango’ or other traditional deities to take oath before assuming office, they will be accountable to the people they sworn an oath to serve”, the octogenarian traditiobal priest stated
