OTN News Platform Member Abiola Ajibola Set to Speak at International Chaplains Conference in Ibadan
A distinguished member of OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News platform, who is also the convener of Digital World Forum, Engineer Dr. Abiola Ajibola, is set to speak at the International Chaplains Conference in Ibadan come Friday 21st November, 2025 where he is expected to bring to bear his vast experience in broadcast media, digital media and technological applications.

A distinguished member of the OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News media platform, Engnr. Dr Abiola Oyediran Ajibola, (FICMA) who is also a former Director, National Broadcasting Academy, Lagos has been nominated to speak at International Chaplains Conference 2025 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In the invitation letter sent to the tech-savvy serial media entrepreneur and signed by the Provost of the mission, Prof Adegbolagun Ademola George, sighted by OTN News, the International Chaplains Conference and Capacity Building Seminar is themed: "Building Resilience in Turbulent Times: Spiritual, Emotional, and Interfaith Strategies for Christian Leaders in Nigeria/Africa".
The event is organised by the Pan Africa Christian University College of Education and Intercultural Missions.
OTN News further reports that the conference is billed to hold on Friday, 21st November 2025, at the Social Welfare Staff Development Centre, Car Wash, Opp ICPC, Samonda, Sango-UI rd, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
The invitation letter further states that Engineer Abiola is expected to present a paper on the sub-theme "Technology, Innovation, and Digital Safety: Adapting Chaplaincy Ministries in Nigeria's Evolving Cyberspace (WhatsApp, TikTok, podcasts, etc.)".
In the words of the organizers, "As a renowned expert in the field of broadcasting and technology, your insights will be invaluable in helping chaplains and religious leaders navigate the complexities of digital safety and adapt their ministries to the evolving cyberspace."
Prof Adegbolagun expressed confidence that Engineer Abiola would do justice to the sub-theme, "Technology, Innovation, and Digital Safety: Adapting Chaplaincy Ministries in Nigeria's Evolving Cyberspace", noting that he is expected to lead the way in the discourse to explore the intersection of technology and chaplaincy, and provide practical insights on how to harness the power of digital tools to advance the kingdom of God.
"We will examine the opportunities and challenges of digital ministry, discuss best practices for online engagement, and explore strategies for ensuring digital safety and security in ministry," the letter reads.
OTN News recalls that Engineer Dr. Abiola Ajibola has carved out a niche for himself in the digital media landscape in Nigeria, where he has initiated several tech projects on social media management, App development, use of robotics and artificial intelligence in education and other areas, in addition to his many years of contributions to the training of broadcasters at the National Broadcasting Academy, from where he retired as Director.
