Nollywood Mourns As Popular Actress Allwell Ademola Dies Aged 49

Few days to the end of the year 2025, the Nigeria film industry code named Nollywood has been thrown into a state of mourning as an actress and producer, Allwell Ademola has reportedly died on Saturday following a heart attack she suffered at her residence.

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the sad news of her death broke out on Saturday evening with tributes pouring in across social media as colleagues and fans of the deceased actress continue to react with varying degrees of shock and surprise to her death.

Multiple entertainment sources have confirmed the demise of the 43-year-old actress, just as a colleague of hers, Faithia Williams, took to Instagram to share her reaction to news of Ademola’s passing, lamenting that it was a  development.

Another colleague of the late actress  Mide Martins has posted a photo of Ademola on Facebook, expressing her utmost shock and in similar way another colleague, Damola Olatunji, posted a candlelight image with the caption that life is a mirage.

Similarly, another Nigerian Actress, Bidemi Kosoko, on her part, expressed sheer disbelief at the report, insisting that she could not believe it was of views that she refused to accept the sad news.

“No way. No, no,, no. Ko possible ooo. This isn’t true. God forbid, in Jesus’ name. I refuse to accept this one Lai Lai God forbid. Olorun oni je. Just reply to my message, abeg Oremi/ aunty mi. I will wait patiently for your reply’, she stated.
