Nigeria's Super Eagles to Face Algeria at AFCON Quarter-Final Fixture on January 10

After narrowly defeating DR Congo 1–0 in extra time during their round-of-16 clash in Rabat on Tuesday, Algeria will take on Nigeria in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations(AFCONS).
Substitute Anis Boulbina scored the decisive goal in the 119th minute, sending a powerful strike into the top corner to secure victory for Algeria.
The win sets up a highly anticipated quarter-final showdown with Nigeria, who advanced to the last eight earlier after beating Mozambique a whooping 4 goals to nill on Monday.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA OTN News reports that the Super Eagles are scheduled to face Algeria on Saturday, January 10 by 5:00 PM at the Stade de Marrakech Stadium as they aim for a fourth Africa Cup of Nations title.
Meanwhile, other Quarter-Final fixtures are scheduled to hold as follows: Mali to face Senegal on Friday, January 9, by 5:00 PM at the Grand Stade de Tanger stadium.
Also, Cameroon to face Morocco on Friday 9, January, by 8:00 PM at the Prince Moulay Abdellah, Rabat Stadium.
While, Egypt is scheduled to face Ivory Coast on Saturday, Jan 10 at exactly 8:00 PM at Stade Adrar, Agadir stadium.
The winners of these matches will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for January 14, 2026. The final match will be held in Rabat on January 18, 2026
