Nigerian Rapper Flaz Says Tinubu’s Administration Represents Hardship, Needing No Elaboration

Nigerian rapper, actor, and social activist Folarin Falana, widely known as Falz, has once again dropped a tarse but pungent criticism of the Tinubu-led administration, offering a scathing one-word assessment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership as symbolic of hardship that requires no elaboration.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that Falz made this position known during a recent interview with Soundcity FM.
When the “Wehdone Sir” hitmaker was asked a direct question about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that, what comes to your mind when you hear his name?” Falz simply replied with the spontaneous tarse response, “Hardship. No elaboration.”
His terse reply underscores the growing frustration among many Nigerians over economic difficulties, including rising inflation, fuel subsidy removal, and a weakening naira.
This is not the first time Falz has publicly criticized Tinubu’s government. Earlier in the year, in an appearance on Arise TV, the outspoken artist declared that Nigeria has “retrogressed” under the current administration.
He lamented the lack of visible progress and urged the President to use his remaining two years in office to address the nation’s pressing challenges.
Falz, who is known for using his music and platform to advocate for social justice, has been a consistent critic of government policies he perceives as detrimental to ordinary Nigerians.
His latest remarks have sparked renewed discussions online, with many citizens echoing his sentiments while others defend the administration’s reforms.
Given the current harsh social economic realities in the country, Falz’s blunt commentary reflects a broader sentiment of disillusionment among the youth and working-class citizens millions of whom have continued to grapple with the economic hardship in the land.
