Netizens React as Muslim Man Confronts Woman for Eating on Bus During Ramadan

OTN News reports that a heated exchange unfolded inside a public bus after a Muslim man confronted a woman for eating while he was fasting during Ramadan, asking her to stop eating or do that off the bus.
OTN News further reports that the incident, which was captured in a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), showed the woman eating her meal when the man asks her to stop, claiming that he could smell her food and it was affecting his fast.
In response, the woman firmly refused, stating that she was simply having her lunch and saw no reason to stop.
The man could be heard saying, “Excuse me, I can smell that. Do you mind eating that somewhere else? I’m fasting. Can’t you wait till you get off the bus?".
The woman, however, firmly turned down his request, stating that she was having her lunch and saw no reason to stop, adding that if he feels uncomfortable he could have stayed at home, just the way she do stayed at home whenever she is observing her fast.
The video ha, however, sparked a wave of reactions, with many social media users sharing their perspectives:
