NBTE, NTEC Announce Date for Media Launch of Nigeria Talent Exploration Challenge

As part of efforts towards enhancing the identification, development, and giving platforms for global expressions to the varied talents, skills, and potentials of Nigerian youths, the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in partnership with NTEC has announced the date for the official media launch of the Nigeria Talent Exploration Challenge.
A news release on the official website of the Nigeria Talent Exploration Challenge (NTEC) sighted by OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News states that, "We cordially invite you to the media launch of the Nigeria Talent Exploration Challenge, a nationwide talent hunt designed to discover, nurture, and celebrate the diverse talents of Nigerian youths."
The release, which reveals further details of the media launch, has it that the event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 8th February, 2025, at NAF Conference Centre Abuja from 11am with dress code for the event highlighted as formal.
OTN News further gathered that among other strategic objectives, the Nigeria Talent Exploration Challenge "aims to provide a platform for young Nigerians to showcase their talents and empower Nigerians, especially the youths to secure national and global windows for exploring untapped potentials.
OTN News reports further gathered that the strategic partner of the project, Prof. Idris Bugaje, who is the Executive Secretary, National Board for Technical Education, representatives from relevant government agencies and NGOs, sponsors, and other partners of the challenge are expected at the Media launch where a welcome address will be delivered by the Project Coordinator, an overview by the Chief Mentor, Jelani Aliyu (MFR), a renowned expert in automotive design, innovation and entrepreneurship who has earned global recognition for his role as the lead designer of the iconic Chevrolet Volt electric car.
Other highlights of the media launch include: Keynote speech by a special guest, the official unveiling of the challenge’s logo and theme by the Founding Father, His Excellency, Rt.Hon.Aminu Bello Masari (CFR), a former governor of Katsina state, who is fondly referred to as Dallatun Katsina.
The media launch will also feature a Question and Answer session as well as media interviews.
In a separate statement by the Executive Secretary of NBTE, Prof. Idris Bugaje, he summarised the project as "an initiative designed to discover and showcase talented Nigerians in Automotive Modelling, ICT, Arts and Design, Fashion, Poetry and Other Areas" with an aim to help such individuals launch their careers".
