MAPOLY Rector Felicitates Staff, Students; Preaches Love, Peace, and Moderation at Christmas

The Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Arc. Dr. ’Koye Jolaoso, has called on Nigerians, especially members of the Polytechnic community, to embrace the values of love, kindness, joy, happiness, and peace, which the Christmas season symbolizes.

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the Rector's message was made public by the Head, Public Relations and Protocols unit of the Polytechnic, Mr. Yemi Ajibola on Wednesday morning.

According to him, Arc. Dr. Jolaoso congratulates the entire MAPOLY community, particularly the Christian faithful, and urged all members to continue to demonstrate unconditional love for one another, noting that this spirit of love has been a major driving force behind the repositioning and rebranding agenda of the Polytechnic in the year 2025.

The Rector commended the support of staff and the efforts of students in ensuring a peaceful and conducive learning environment throughout the outgoing year. 

He further solicited greater individual and collective cooperation and participation to enhance the progress and development of the institution.

While advising members of the Polytechnic community to celebrate the festive season moderately, Arc. Jolaoso announced that there would be half-day duty on Wednesday, 24th and Wednesday, 31st December, 2025.

In line with the Federal Government's declaration of Thursday, December 25th, and Friday, December 26th 2025, as well as Thursday, 1st January, 2026, as public holidays to mark the festive period, the Polytechnic will observe the holidays. 

The statement concludes that Arc. Dr. ’Koye Jolaoso, on behalf of the Governing Council and Management, wishes all staff and students a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year in advance.
