MAPOLY Radio Celebrates Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Sojobi, Describes Him As a Rare Blend of Statistician with Emulatable Social and Leadership Skills

The Headship of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta's campus Radio, MAPOLY 99.7 FM Ojere has congratulated the institution's Director of Academic Planning Unit, Dr. Olayiwola Adio Sojobi, describing him as a rare breed of academics, a Statistician par excellence who equally possesses emulatable social and result-oriented leadership skills.
A statement released by the pioneer General Manager of the campus Radio station through the Programmes Head, Ambassador Olufemi Orunsola on Sunday, November 2, 2025, and sighted by OTN News reads, "We, at MAPOLY Radio 99.7 FM Ojere, today, celebrate Dr.Olayiwola Adio Sojobi who is a year older today".
The statement further describes Dr.Sojobi as "A Consumate Statistician par excellence, a Mathematician extra ordinairre with emulatable penchant and flair for fact-based journalism and impeccable records keeping."
Orunsola admitted that the celebrant is singled out for celebration by the station because despite being a scientific scholar, he is one of the die hard fans of the campus Radio who has literarily transmuted to a viable media consultant offering invaluable pieces of advice and strategic guidance to the operators of the campus Radio station on how to expand programmes content to deepen the grassroots impacts of the new campus Radio station across all strata of the campus Community and beyond.
He therefore prays that God will grant the unique multidisciplinary scholar the grace, more wisdom and sound health to function not only in his current official capacity as the Director of the Academic Planning Unit of the Polytechnic but in other spheres of his visible influence within the Academic community in Nigeria and beyond.
