Many Feared Dead As Gunmen Attack National Park Service Oyo

The serenity that characterizes an average day at Oriire Local government Area of Oyo was desecrated on Tuesday when armed gunmen suspected to be bandits stormed the National Park Service(NPS) Office in Oloka area, killing five people at the end.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that the attackers struck at about 9p.m. on Tuesday night.
The Oyo State Police spokesperson, Olayinka Ayanlade, who confirmed the incident, said the Oyo Command of the Nigeria Police was yet to identify the perpetrators of the dastardly attack unleashed against the men of the National Park.
OTN News observes that the attack by suspected bandits came at a time when stakeholders in the South-West part of the country have raised alarms that the bandits who have been wrecking havoc in the Northern parts of the have migrated to the South-West given the spates of attacks unleashed on parts of Kwara and Kogi, including Ondo, in recent times.
