Lisabi Festival 2024: Alake of Egba tasks youths to tap native intelligences for development

The paramount ruler of Egba land, HMR Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, has tasked Egba youths to tap into the rich and diverse native intelligences embedded in the Yoruba culture for solutions to multi-faceted problems confronting the Nigerian society.
The Alake of Egba land gave this admonition during the press conference organised for the 37th Lisabi Festival at the Ake palace on Monday 26th February, 2024.
The royal father while addressing the press affirmed that Egba nation has a long history of civilization that puts it ahead of many other parts of yoruba land.
According to him, Egba land has become a reference point for other cultures in Nigeria in terms of its civilization, excellence in education and blazing the trail in many other fields of human endeavour and preservation of its heritage as reflected in the celebration of the annual Lisabi Festival.
The Egba traditional ruler assured Egba youths that there are confirmed native intelligences that can solve modern problems such as insecurity, food insecurity and graduate unemployment but such intelligences can only be fully activated when there is cordial relationship between the youths and the elders in the land.
The Alake of Egba land revealed that the 37th Lisabi Festival slated to hold between Friday march 1st and Sunday 10th march, 2024 has a wide range of cultural and developmental activities, targeted at positioning Egba nation, Egba youths and Egba at home and abroad on the world map for every right reasons.
