FG Launches "Convert to CNG Now Pay Later" Portal With Flexible Installments

The Nigerian Government, under President Bola Tinubu, has launched a payment portal for citizens interested in converting their vehicles from petrol to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
In a statement titled "Payment Plan to Ease CNG Transition," OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered that the Government emphasized that switching to CNG is now easier and more affordable.
According to the National Orientation Agency (NOA), the new portal allows Nigerians to switch their vehicles now and spread the payment over time with affordable monthly installments.
Recalls that the Government had earlier launched a free vehicle conversion program in Lagos, aiming to make CNG a cost-effective alternative to petrol through the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi).
The statement added that, the online application process is simple, with quick approvals, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
Furthermore, OTN News however, revealed that, the Government highlighted several benefits of CNG, including cost savings, environmental friendliness, improved engine life, and reliable safety standards.
