Is Nigeria Beyond Redemption? Bishop Kukah Weighs In Tonight on Boiling Point @ 8 pm

The much anticipated New Year edition of Boiling Point Arena billed for for 8 pm this Sunday, January 11, 2026, is set to dissect the true nature of Nigeria's problem, xraying the crucial existential and survivability questions, "Are Nigerians victims of bad leadership, or co-authors of their own predicament?"

This debate will form the plank of discussion with the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Dr Mathew Kukah on the podium, leading the conversation.

The popular monthly interview discourse, Boiling Point Arena, commences from 8pm tonight over a two-hour duration via Zoom and will be broadcast live on six partnering radio stations across Lagos, Ogun and Delta States.

With an incredibly large online followership and wide listenership base, Boiling Point Arena, is hosted by a media professional and public relations strategist, Dr Ayo Arowojolu.

Frontline traditional ruler, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof Saka Matemilola is the Keynote Speaker and Chair to herald the discourse.

One of Nigeria’s foremost moral compass and promoter of ethical governance, Rev Father Kukah will explore the topic: “Who Failed Nigeria and Who Will Fix it? A Critical Look at Leadership, Citizens and Systems as the Build up to Another Election Year Begins”.

Bishop Kukah is expected to unmask the various factors that have dragged the country to almost the tipping point in virtually all aspects of the polity and economy.

He is expected to pointedly answer the question as to whether or not Nigeria’s destiny is beyond redemption and renewal.

As well, the vocal critic will also confront the issues of leadership, followership and institutional breakdown and chart a path from broken promises to national recovery.
