Installation: Ooni Visits Olubadan-designate Ladoja in Ibadan

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, on Sunday, paid a visit to the Olubadan designate, Rashidi Ladoja, at his Bodija private residence in Ibadan, Oyo State, ahead of his installation as the 44th Olubadan scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025.
OTN News further reports as gathered from a video that has since circulating on social media, that Ooni, who arrived at the residence of the Olubadan-designate at 2:12 pm, was welcomed by hundreds of Ibadan residents, including high chiefs, Baales, Mogajis, social cultural groups, and title holders amid drumming, dancing, and jubilation.
The Olubadan-designate welcomed the Ooni into his Bodija private residence in Ibadan, with the both kings sitting close to eachother, and addressing all the well-wishers present at the private resident.
OTN News, observes that Oba Ladoja installation followed the demise of the 43rd Olubadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, who joined his ancestors on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the age of 90 years.
However, as the day of the installation draws close the people of Ibadan are extremely excited as the land will be blessed with the king after their hearts.
