Flood: President Tinubu Arrives Maidugiri on Condolence Visit
Barely 24 hours after returning to Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu Has Moved Down to Maidugiri the Borno state capital to condole with and console the government and people of the major Northern State

President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has visited Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state to condole with the government and people of the state over the Alau Dam flood disaster.
According to a News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports, Tinubu arrived the major Northern State around 3.15 pm on Monday.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered that President Tinubu, who had just returned to the country, was received upon his arrival in Maidugiri by Gov. Babagana Zulum, is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Umar-Garbai El-Kaneni, from where he is expected to proceed to one of the camps to address displaced person
NAN reports that the massive flood recoded last Monday flood which submerged almost half of Maiduguri, leading to loss of livestock and properties yet to be fully estimated.
So far, the Borno Government has opened 36 camps to cater for thousands of displaced persons.
