EndBadGovernance: National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies Invites Nigerians for Virtual National Dialogue
As the nationwide #endbadgovernance protests continue in some parts of Nigeria with frightening incidents of looting of public and private property recorded, even after the national address by President Bola Tinubu on Sunday morning, the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) has officially initiated a virtual platform for National Dialogue with Nigerians to ventilate their voices constructively via its x spaces.

As the nationwide #endbadgovernance protests continue in some parts of Nigeria with frightening incidents of looting of public and private property recorded, even after the national address by President Bola Tinubu on Sunday morning, the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) has officially initiated a virtual platform for National Dialogue with Nigerians to ventilate their voices constructively via its x spaces.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the institute announced the invitation to Nigerians, especially the youths, for the National Dialogue today on its x handle @NIPSSKuru.
OTN News also reports that the Head, Public Affairs Department of the institute, Prof. Sola Adeyanju also circulated a press release dated 6th August, 2024 titled:
A National Dialogue with Youth and Stakeholders.
According to the institute, the virtual forum organized by it
"is for an inclusive and constructive dialogue on urgent challenges confronting the Nigerian nation."
The institute further noted that; "The fact that everyone’s voice is needed to move the country forward is not in contention."
It, therefore, calls upon Nigerians, especially the youths,youth groups, students,women,
Civil Societies Organisations(CSO) and other vulnerable demographics to be a part of the x spaces.
The NIPSS further stated that the essence of organizing the Space for National Dialogue is "to serve as an objective platform to galvanize all ideas for progress and serve as an opportunity for the free expression of their opinions and expectations. It is also to ensure that all voices are heard, no matter the perspectives".
The institute further assures Nigerians who will be participating in the National Dialogue that "the institute operates the principle of non-attribution in which case, the institute will not hold you responsible for opinions expressed, and while your data will be treated with utmost confidentiality", noting that NIPSS will not be held liable for any opinions expressed during the Dialogues.
Meanwhile, OTN News reports that the sessions, scheduled to hold on Wednesday 7th, August, 2024 in three different sessions timed from 9:00am to 11:00am,(first session), 1:00pm to 3:00pm, (second session), an 8:00pm to 10pm (third session) of the same day.

OTN News hopes that Nigerians will take advantage of the Dialogue window to ventilate their voices on the pressing demands of the masses from government while the NIPSS also do the needful, by collating the opinion threads and transmitting same to the Presidency for immediate action.
