End-of-Year Holidays: Tinubu Lands in Lagos as Sanwo-Olu, Government Officials, Chieftain of APC Welcome Jagaban

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend the end-of-year holidays following official visits to Borno and Bauchi states on Saturday.
OTN News further reports that the President was received by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, government officials and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
OTN News recalls that Tinubu departed Abuja on Saturday on a three-state tour.
The president visited Borno state, commissioned projects executed by the state government under Governor Babagana Zulum in collaboration with the Federal Government.
He also visited Maiduguri the capital city of Borno state where he attended the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor and Senator, Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Borno, Tinubu proceeded to Bauchi State, where he paid a condolence visit to the state government and the family of Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the late renowned Islamic cleric and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who died on November 27.
OTN News further recalls that after the condolence visit, he arrived in Lagos where he is expected to engage in several activities during the holiday period.
Among his engagements, President Tinubu is scheduled to attend the Eyo Festival on 27 December as the guest of honour.
The festival, to be held at the Tafawa Balewa Square, will celebrate prominent personalities, including the President’s late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as late former Lagos State Governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
