Dapo Abiodun's SA, Sola Arobieke Honoured with Made-in-mapoly Distinguished Entrepreneurship Promoter of the Year 2024 Award
In recognition of her invaluable contributions to entrepreneurship promotion and her matron-like support for entrepreneurship education in the state, the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MAPCED) has honoured the Deputy Director General of Ogun State Investment Promotion Agency(OGUNINVEST) with a Distinguished Entrepreneurship Promoter Award

Special Adviser to Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun on Investments who is also the Deputy Director General of Ogun State Investment Promotion Agency code named OGUNINVEST, Ms Sola Arobieke has been honoured with an honorary award as a Matron Entrepreneurship Promoter in the maiden edition of Distinguished Made-in-mapoly Entrepreneurs Awards 2024.
According to the Chairman, Central Planning Committee of the Maiden Made-in-Mapoly Distinguished Entrepreneurs Awards, Mr Olufemi Orunsola who presented the award plaques and honorary murflers to her at her OPIC building, Isheri office, the award is in recognition of the invaluable support of Ms Arobieke for the Campus-wide entrepreneurship promotion event.
Orunsola, a member of the Celebrity Special Marshal Unit of the Federal Road Safety Corps (CSM, FRSC) who was equally honoured with a pan African Award of Excellence by OnTheHighwayAfrica during the flag off of the road safety campaigns revealed that the Central Planning Committe mandated him to delivered a letter of appreciation and the award plaque to the Special Adviser who was unavoidably absent at the MMDE Awards.
He noted that although the Special Adviser could not grace the event which took place on October 30th at the OGD Auditorium of the Polytechnic, due to her higher official duties in the state, the Committee has thought it prudent to appreciate her for her personal donation of cartons of drinks to the organizers in addition to facilitating corporate participation of other brands in the entrepreneurship event during which many old students of the Polytechnic were honoured with awards for their post-graduation entrepreneurship success stories.
In her response, Ms Arobieke expressed her profound satisfaction with the gestures of the leading state-owned Polytechnic, assuring that, she is always ready to use her good offices to support entrepreneurship promotion initiatives and programmes that will benefit Nigerian young entrepreneurs, especially the undergraduates.
