British Passenger Explains How He Survived Deadly Air India Plane Crash

A British passenger who has been confirmed by Indian aviation authorities as the only survivor of a tragic Air India crash on which over 200 people were killed has explained how he survived the air mishap.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik told news agency ANI that he is the only person who came out alive from the wreckage of the London-bound Boeing 787-8.
According to the passenger manifest released by authorities, the survivor had been seated in 11A, which was assigned to Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, a British national.
OTN News further reports that Indian media outlets have reportedly spoken to Mr Ramesh in the hospital, where he recounted the harrowing moment thatvfollower the take-off and subsequent crash of the air craft.
He was quoted to have said, "Thirty seconds after take-off, there was a loud noise, and then the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly."
Additional monitored local reports from India have it that Mr Ramesh has provided his boarding pass to confirm his identity and seat number.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Malik confirmed to ANI that the survivor “has been in the hospital and is under treatment”.
OTN News recalls that the London-bound Boeing 787-8 flight was carrying 169 Indian nationals, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese citizens, and one Canadian before the aircraft crashed into a residential accommodation for doctors less than a minute after departure from Ahmedabad on Thursday sending waves of shock and trauma across India, the United Kingdom and the entire world.
