BREAKING NEWS! ASIWAJU BOLA TINUBU PRONOUNCED 'PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GHANA'

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the newly inaugurated President of Ghana, John Mahama has mistakenly declared Nigeria’s President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the ‘President of the Federal Republic of Ghana.”
OTN News further reports that Mahama made this error while giving his inauguration speech earlier today.
The Ghanaian President while observing protocols at his Inauguration was seen reading, in a video, now going viral saying, " ....Honourable Members of Parliament, Your Excellency, the Vice President of the Federal Replace of Ghana,....Your Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Ghana and Special Guest of Honour for This Occasion.....".
OTN News recalls that John Mahama was elected as the president of Ghana last month during the Presidential election in which the ruling party in Ghana lost.
OTN News further recalls that in December 2024, the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mahmood Yakubu while commendung the Electoral umpire of Ghana had come under fire for a statement credited to him in which he claimed that "Ghana learnt from Nigeria in the area of managing constituency election result."
The INEC chairman, who has come under fire in Nigeria for controversial general elections in 2019 and 2023, spoke on the Ghana's general elections in a video sighed by OTN News, of which many Nigerian Netizens tongue-lashed the Professor claiming that Ghana had nothing significantly positive to learn from INEC, Nigeria's electoral umpire other than sharp practices, lack of transparency and accountability.
