Bomb Explosion Rocks Borno, 11 Residents Killed, Several Injured
A suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at a crowded fish market in the Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State on Friday night, killing at least 10 civilians and injuring seven others.

At least 11 residents have been killed while several others were injured in a bomb explosion that rocked Konduga town in Borno State.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA OTN News gathered that the explosion took place Friday night in front of a local cinema, located beside the Konduga fish market.
According to the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), many of the injured were taken to the Maiduguri Specialist Hospital for treatment.
According to security sources, it was learnt that the assailant disguised as a civilian and mingled with the crowd before detonating the explosive.
Meanwhile, security forces have been deployed to the scene to secure the area and begin investigations.
Konduga is located about 36 kilometres from Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State. This is the first suicide-related bombing in the town in nearly a year.
