Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Ayodeji Balogun, known widely as Wizkid, has unveiled the tracklist for his upcoming album, "Morayo," set to be released on November 22.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered that the album is dedicated to his late mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023.
The 16-track project features a stellar lineup of guest artists, including Asake, Brent Faiyaz, Jazmine Sullivan, Anaïs, and Tiakola.
Tracks on the album include titles like "Troubled Mind, Karamo, Kese (Dance), Bad Girl, A Million Blessings and Pray."
Earlier this year, Wizkid clarified that "Morayo" is not an Afrobeats album and advised fans of the genre to approach the project with an open mind.
Wizkid rose to fame with his debut album "Superstar" in 2011.
Since then, he has released four critically acclaimed albums, including "Made in Lagos," which holds the record as the most-streamed Nigerian album on Apple Music.
The global superstar, who earned a Grammy Award in 2021 for "Brown Skin Girl," continues to solidify his legacy with "Morayo,* a deeply personal andreflective project.
