'Unless You Leave The Surface of This Earth And Relocate to Space' - Paul Okoye Threatens to Sue X User Who Accused Him of R@pe

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that popular Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, widely known as Rudeboy of the P-Square duo, has threatened legal action against a social media user who accused him of sexually assaulting a domestic helper.
OTN News further reports that the singer who threaten this on his X handle, formerly Twitter, as a response to a post accusing him of raping, threaten that he will use every necessary means, power, resources and money, he has to make sure the accuser face the wrath of the law, serving such soul as an example (scapegoat).
OTN News recalls that the controversy ignited on Tuesday after an X user with the handle @chubbiedivan made a serious accusation shortly after the singer posted a birthday tribute to his 25-year-old wife Ivy Ifeoma, which draw public commentary on their 18-year age gap.
OTN News further recalls that the user alleged that during Okoye’s previous marriage to Anita Isama, he “raped/coerced their domestic help,” suggesting the employee was too young and vulnerable to refuse.
The accuser's post further claimed that when the incident was discovered, Okoye sent his then-wife and her sister out of the house.
However, Rudeboy responding directly on X with a vehement threat of legal action to the allegations levy again him by this user, vowed to pursue the individual behind the claim relentlessly, regardless of their attempts to hide online.
According to him, “I hardly reply !!! But you see this one !!! @chubbiedivah if you like go private , leave X !! I will find you.
“I will use every necessary means , power, resources and money !!! You will face the law, I will use you to set an example!! (scapegoat).
“Your only way out is to leave the surface of this earth and relocate to space. To everyone that brought my attention to her tweet … thank you.” he wrote.
OTN News gathered that the account responsible for the tweet has since been deactivated.
OTN News recalls that the singer unveiled Ivy as his partner in December 2022.
Their relationship drew backlash on social media, with some critics faulting him for ending his eight-year marriage to Isama.
In May 2024, the singer and Ivy had their traditional wedding in Abia state, and in November that year, they welcomed their daughter Imani Ugomma.
