Sanwo-Olu Launches Lagos Red Line Rail For Full Commercial Operations

Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has officially launched the historic Red Rail Line train service’s full commercial operations in Lagos state.
Sanwo-Olu, during the public launch, officially boarded the train on Tuesday at exactly 5:20 PM and stopped at Ikeja at 5:55 PM.
The governor thereafter revealed that the Red Line, designed to carry 500,000 passengers daily at full capacity, will significantly improve commuting in the state.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA OTN recalls that the Red Line was inaugurated on February 29 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Meanwhile, Sanwo-Olu took advantage of the ocassion to emphasize the commitment of his government to increasing the frequency of train services in the state in order to meet transportation demands of people innthe aquatic metropolitan state.
