Safety Matters: Ogun Trace Announces Commencement of Its Recruitment Exercise For New Operatives

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, (TRACE), on Thursday, May 1, 2025, which marks the day the country honours the workers across the 36 states, announced the commencement of its recruitment exercise for new operatives in the state, adding that the move is in line with its unwavering commitment to safer roads and effective traffic management across Ogun 18 major traffic corridors.
OTN News further reports that this new development which was announced in a press release by the TRACE public relation officer, M&S, commander Baba Tunde Akinbiyi, has it that the order was from the office of TRACE Commander General/Chief Executive, Cdr. Dr 'Seni Ogunyemi.
The statement noted that the recruitment is in alignment with the vision of the Ogun State Governor, prince Dapo Abiodun.
It reads, "The recruitment is in alignment with the vision of His Excellency, Governor Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun CON, who has graciously approved the enlistment, under the auspices of the office of the Hon Commissioner for Transportation, Engr. Gbenga Dairo. FNSE, to strengthen TRACE manpower needs and build a safer as well as a more responsive public service that prioritizes the welfare and safety of all road users and to also bolster the agency’s operational capacity to meet the increasing demand for effective traffic management across the state."
The statement further added that the recruitment exercise of new operatives, is a timely intervention to enhance visibility and improved response time to rescue and emergency situations.
Subsequently, it noted that the agency is seeking disciplined, dedicated, and service oriented individuals who are passionate about public safety and willing to make a career in traffic management.
