PSC Approves Olanrewaju Ogunlowo as New CP Ogun Following Abiodun Alamutu's Retirement

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the posting of CP Olanrewaju Ogunlowo from Kwara State as the new substantive Commissioner of Police for Ogun State command.
OTN News further reports that the new development was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the Spokesperson of the Commission, Mr Ikechukwu Ani.
According to the statement, CP Ogunlowo takes over from CP Abiodun Alamutu who has retired from the service of the Nigeria Police Force this year.
The statement further explained that the Commission’s approval has been communicated to the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Dr Adeolu Olukayode Egbetokun, for implementation in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Chief Onyemuche Nnamani.
Furthermore, the Commission Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu rtd, has also congratulated the new Commissioner and advised that he should use his new office to ensure that Ogun State is properly policed where law and order are maintained and crime and criminality are drastically reduced.
DIG Argungu however, added that the Commission would continue to support the Police in any way possible to ensure a safe environment for Nigerians.
