Oladipupo Foundation Sets to Celebrate 15th Anniversary in Grand Style, to Empower 100 Sickle Cell Patients

As the year 2025 gradually coasts towards the end, Oladipupo Foundation for sickle cell is set to put beams of smiles on the faces of sickle cell patients once again as it sets to celebrate 15 years of raising and sharing hopes of people living with sickle cell on Thursday December 11, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered from a press release by the founder of the Non Governmental Organization that the foundation, which formally started in 2010, and has carried out advocacy programs on sickle cell, intervene financially in treatments and hospital bills of this population and has impacted on persons living with cell on various fronts, is poised to celebrate its 15th anniversary in Grand style.
Mr. Oladipupo revealed that this year’s celebration is particularly unique because the Deputy Governor of Ogun state, Engr. Noimot Oyedele Salako is expected as the mother of the day.
He further revealed that during This anniversary, the foundation will confer honors and awards on individuals and corporate organizations who have supported the activities of the foundation these past years.
Mr. Oladipupo also revealed that Dr. Adebola Akindele, Atunluse of Egba land will be conferred as grand patron while Alhaja Khadija Hamzat, a business woman as patroness. Among other conferments are that of Jagunmolu Jamiu Omoniyi, Ogun commissioner for housing as patron while both Hon Gboyega Nasir Isiaka and Hon Isiak Kunle Salako will be honored with distinguished platinum recognition award.
Other highpoints of the celebration, he stated includes, the enrollment of no fewer than 100 persons living with sickle cell on the NHIS scheme as sponsored by the grand patron, Dr Ismail Adebola Akindele.
