By: Israel Adeleke

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola has responded to a statement made by Nigerian businessman and richest man in Africa, Alhaji Aliko Dangote concerning the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, NMDPRA, Farouk Ahmed.

OTN News further reports that Otedola’s reaction was captured in a post that he uploaded on his official X handle.

OTN News recalls that Channels TV published a report in which Aliko Dangote accused Farouk Ahmed of corruption, assuring them that Ahmed pays $5 million for his children’s school expenses in Switzerland.

This is what Dangote said: “My children went to secondary school in Nigeria. They did not go outside Nigeria to attend secondary school.

“I don’t know why the authority Chief Executive, Mallam Farouk, has four children educated in Switzerland at the cost of five million dollars for their secondary school education alone, not university,”

However, reacting to this statements, Femi Otedola has now spoken out after the report leaked online.

In a post on his official X handle, he questioned whether the Chief Executive Officer of NMDPRA is living lavishly on taxpayers’ money.

According to him, Dangote has asked the federal government to probe Farouk Ahmed.
