Mixed Reactions as Man Calls on FG to Rename UNILAG After Muhammadu Buhari

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that a Nigerian man, identified as @TheoAbuAgada, has sparked mixed reactions on the internet after he called on the federal government to rename the University of Lagos (UNILAG) after late President Muhammadu Buhari.
OTN News further reports that the man who took to his social media handle to sympathise, shortly after Buhari's remains were flown back to Nigeria, wrote: “UNILAG should be named after Buhari,” adding, “We must honor our ex-president.”
However, OTN News observes that his statement sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians flooding the comment section to share their views on the proposal.
Some of the reactions read: @Buchyogba, wrote: “Lol. I support this motion. Buhari deserves the honor.”
@wilex_williams, asked: “What happen to the university in Daura, he built it, they can name that after him.”
Furthermore, @FranklinCh8824, wrote: “I’m telling you Bro. I hope they do so. Buhari has been patriotic citizen. He’s the best President Nigeria has ever produced."
