Jailbreak: Confusion as 8 Inmates Escape From Kwara Prison, One Apprehended

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that a jailbreak has occurred at the Juvenile Correctional Centre, Oko Erin in Kwara State on April 19, with nine out of eleven inmates escaping.
OTN News further reports as gathered that a security expert, Zagazola Makama, who disclosed this, said that the incident was reported at about 22:00 hours by a staff member at the facility, Joseph Issa.
He noted that upon receiving the distress call, police responded quickly and visited the scene, where they were able to re-arrest one of the escapees, identified as 15-year-old Abdul Raman Misa.
He, however, noted that, Misa has been returned to the centre, while efforts to apprehend the remaining eight fugitives are ongoing.
An investigation into the circumstances of the escape is currently in progress, he added.
