Ibese Kingdom Agog As King Saheed Osupa Storms Ibese, Monarch Unveils New Ibese Anthem at Grand Finale of Asakanra Ibese 2024

The ancient but fast-growing Kingdom of Ibese in Yewa area of Ogun State, Nigeria, came alive as popular Fuji star, King Saheed Osupa performed at the grand finale of the Asakanra Ibese Festival 2024 where the Ibese anthem commissioned by the traditional ruler of the kingdom was officially unveiled on Sunday.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that a wide range of activities lined up for the celebration of the Asakanra Ibese Festival including: Royal blessings and iwure by the Monarch of Ibese, HRM Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, the Aboro of Ibese Land for peace, prosperity and developmebt of Ibese and her people, novelty football matches, medical outreach for the elderly and vulnerable people in the kingdom, special prayers, Royal visit to the police command formation in the area to strengthen security of lives and property as well as other strata-by-strata by creative activities such as the beating of the Royal drums by the Royal drummers of Olokojobi III, among other traditional rituals took place during the week long celebration which dovetailed into the conferment of Chieftaincy titles on some prominent sons and daughters of Ibese Land at the palace of the Aboro of Ibese over the weekend.
OTN News further reports that the ancient kingdom, which plays host to Dangote Cement factory experienced massive turn out of sons and daughters of Ibese Land as well as tourists and culture enthusiasts from different parts of the world who all came to witness and participate in the Asakanra Ibese Festival.
However, an emotional moment which highlighted the Asakanra Ibese Day 2024 was the launching of the strongly worded, melodious and motivational anthem composed by designated literature scholars and a technical team who produced the Ibese Anthem.
OTN News also reports that many prominent Nigerians graced the grand finale of the Asakanra Ibese Day 2024 with a powerful representation of the Ogun State Governor while the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewa Land, HRM Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle featured prominently as the Royal Father at the grand finale of the cultural day.
Meanwhile, the 2024 edition of the Asakanra Ibese Festival has been unanimously described as the most interesting and colourful edition of the annual traditional festival by many sons and daughters of Ibese interviewed by OTN News correspondents among whom is a prominent Chieftain and member of the Aboro Ibese in-Council, Chief Amos Faremi, the Akogun of Ibese, who confirmed that, "Indeed, the 2024 Asakanra Ibese Day is a huge improvement on the previous editions of the Asakanra Ibese festival but it can only get better because Ibese land, under the leadership of our young, visionary and dynamic King, HRM Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba, Olokojobi III, who has all it takes to take the celebration to higher levels in future years".
