Former Nigerian President General Muhammadu Buhari Dies in London Hospital Aged 82

Reports reaching the news desk at OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News have it that the immediate past President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari has on Sunday, given up the ghost at a London hospital, aged 82.
OTN News reports that former Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu has confirmed the death of the Katsina-born former President in a tarse release on Sunday which reads,
INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHIR RAJI’UN.
The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.

General Muhammadu Buhari often referred to as GMB in his lifetime was born on 7 December 1942.
He was military man turned politician, who served two terms as the President of the most populous African country between 2015 and 2023.
Earlier in his lifetime, he served as the Military Head of State of Nigeria between 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985.
