Despite Dismissal From Women Affairs Role, Former Minister, Uju-Ken Ohanenye Pledges Support For Tinubu Until Very End

Despite being relieved of her duties as Minister of Women Affairs by President Bola Tinubu, Uju-Ken Ohanenye has pledged her unwavering support to the President in his efforts to transform Nigeria.
As gathered by OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News in a statement shared on her official X.com account, @BarrUjuKennedy, on Saturday, the former Minister expressed her commitment to Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ and encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful for the country’s future.
“This is a moment of truth, a profound movement that is beyond human control,” she stated.
"President Tinubu is destined to bring about positive change in Nigeria, and I, Barr Uju Kennedy, will stand by him until the very end. Let’s hold onto the belief that Nigeria will rise again!”
On October 24, Ohanenye also issued a letter of appreciation, reaffirming her dedication to serving Nigeria and her determination to contribute to the nation’s progress and prosperity.
OTN News recalls that Ohanenye was dismissed alongside several other Ministers, including Lola Ade-John (Minister of Tourism), Prof. Tahir Mamman (Minister of Education), Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo (Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development), and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim (Minister of Youth Development).
The announcement came from the President’s Special Adviser on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, on Wednesday.
The statement further detailed the reassignment of ten Ministers to new roles, the nomination of seven new Ministers pending Senate confirmation, and the appointment of Shehu Dikko as Chairman of the National Sports Commission.
Additionally, Sunday Akin Dare was appointed as Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation, working within the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu was designated Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, while Jumoke Oduwole was appointed Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
In her appreciation letter, Ohanenye expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for the opportunity to serve as a Minister, emphasizing the honor and privilege she felt in contributing tothe nation’s development.
