Davido Yields Custody of Imade in Emotional Response to Sophia Momodu

Nigerian music Super Star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared his emotional struggles following a legal dispute with his baby mama, Sophia Momodu. 

OPEN TELEVISION Naija reports that in a recent tweet, Davido expressed deep sadness over the loss of his son, Ifeanyi, and suggested ending their custody battle over their daughter, Imade. 

The Nigerian music star referred to Sophia’s counter-affidavit, which surfaced online, and acknowledged the ongoing pain he, his fiancée Chioma, and their family face after Ifeanyi’s death. 

Davido criticized Sophia for bringing up their son’s death, accusing her of using it to repeatedly remind them of their tragic loss.

OPEN TELEVISION Naija gathered that In a heartfelt message, Davido indicated his decision to relinquish immediate custody of Imade, expressing confidence that she would understand his efforts when she is older. 

He reassured Imade of his enduring love and concluded with a poignant note, emphasizing that she would not remain a child forever. 

Davido's response reflected to the personal challenges and complexities which he had faced under public scrutiny, highlighting the emotional toll of family disputes and personal tragic loss.
