Black Week At Governor's House as Sister Dies Four Days After Been Shot By Armed Robbers

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that the younger sister of Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State, Atsi Kefas, has reportedly died four days after she was shot by armed robbers in a vehicle carrying the governor’s mother and her along Kente Road in Wukari Local Government Area of the state on Thursday morning.
OTN News further reports that the 44-year-old Woman, died while receiving treatment in a private hospital in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for her injuries from the robbery attack.
Furthermore, OTN News gathered that the Governor's mother, Jummai Kefas, narrowly escaped bullets but the daughter was unlucky as she was shot and afterwards was rushed to the Federal University Teaching Hospital, Wukari, before being flown to Abuja for further treatment.
However, she gave up four days after which was on Monday night in Abuja. Subsequently, the family and the state government as at the time of filing this report were yet to confirm the death of the lady but a reliable family source on Tuesday established the sad news, confirming that the death happened on Monday, just as number of condolences have been posted on social media.
