37th Lisabi Festival: It can only get better says Princess Ayorinde

The founder and President of foremost Egba royal association, Egba Royal Sisters & Brothers Worldwide has expressed utmost satisfaction with the new dimensions injected into celebration of the Lisabi festival in Abeokuta for the year 2024, noting that the festival can only get better.
Princess Bolatito Ayorinde made this known to Open Television, Naija during the grand finale ceremonies of the Lisabi festival which held at the newly refurbished Ake palace Amphitheater on Saturday, March 9, 2024.
According to her, the theme of the 37th Lisabi festival, "Encouraging youths in Agricultural Business:Panacea to captures solving unemployment in Nigeria" captures the current challenges facing the country.
She further observes that just like Lisabi, the great Egba hero, deployed the native intelligence of Agricultural Cooperative system to deliver the Egbas from their enemies back in the olden days, Egba Agricultural revolution and its value chains, can be used to stem the tide of hunger in the country today.
Princess Ayorinde affirmed that Lisabi festival 2024 was superlatively planned and executed with unprecedented pomp and pageantry under the progressive leadership of the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egba land, HRM Oba Dr. Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo (Okukenu IV)
The Princess therefore thanked all members of Egba Royal Sisters and Brothers Worldwide for their contributions towards the success of the 37th Lisabi festival, urging all sons and daughters of Egba land, especially those in the diaspora to join forces with the Royal fathers in Abeokuta led by the Alake of Egba land to develop Egba land and also make subsequent editions of the Lisabi festival much more impactful and memorable.
It would be recalled that Egba Royal Sisters and Brothers Worldwide under the leadership of Princess Ayorinde has successfully executed many philanthropic and development projects such as modern boreholes in selected needy parts of Abeokuta over the years, in addition to giving indigent Egba sons and daughters educational scholarship.
The association also built an ultra modern royal parking lot en suite with a edifice that accommodates eight units of toilets and bathroom for use at the palace and commissioned it during the 18th coronation anniversary of the Egba monarch in November, 2023.
