2025: Afenifere Leader Pa Fasoranti Assures Nigerians of a Better Year

Nonagerian Leader of pan-Yoruba socio-cultural and socio-political group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti has assured Nigerians of a better life in the new year 2025.

The 98-year-old leader of thought who gave this assurance in a statement by the association’s National Publicity Secretary, Jare Ajayi, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital recently, expressed hope for a better life for Nigerians in the shortest time possible. 

The Yoruba pressure group Leader who is only two-years away from becoming a Centenarian said, "I pray that the Almighty God comforts us in our worrying moments, strengthens us where and when we are weak, and lightens our dark havens," adding that “I also want to express hope and a better life for Nigerians soonest.”

Pa Fasoranti further encouraged Nigerians and assured them that the various policies of President Bola Tinubu’s government would be beneficial to the people within the shortest time possible.

The nonagenarian maibtained that the new year 2025 promises a fresh air of good living for Nigerians.

The elder statesman also expressed hus commiseration with the families of those who recently lost their lives during food palliative distribution stampedes at Ibadan, Oyo State, Okija in Anambra State, and the FCT, praying for the quick recovery of those who sustained injuries during the stampede that occurred in those places.

“Our hearts are with the families of the victims of these incidents. We pray that the Almighty God will avail them the fortitude to bear the losses, heal the wounded, and have mercy on the souls of those who died in the process."
