2008/09 Mapoly Mass Comm Set to reunite in Abeokuta Nov. 29

The ever busy Iwe Iroyin house in Oke Ilewo area of Abeokuta will, come alive in a new dimension tomorrow Saturday 29 November 2025, as the 2008/09 Mass Communication graduates of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta are billed to unite for the group's 2025 Reunion and Annual General Meeting themed: Uniting for A Greater Impact.
A statement by the 2025 Reunion Planning Committee Spokeperson, Mr Oshinmi Ezekiel, and made available to Open Television Network (OTN), revealed that Members of the Global Village (the set name-code) are already in the mood to "converge on Abeokuta this Saturday for their regular reunion party and AGM."
Oshinmi further said this years reunion theme was carefully picked in order for the Global Villagers to discuss on how members can positively improve on the successes of the past amidst current socio-economic realities members are experiencing around the world.
He added that "the group has come to realize that we can impact on ourselves irrespective of our location and jurisdiction once we are together in this Global Village."
Oshinmi said the Global Villagers have outline series of activities in commemoration of its fifteen years post graduation existence to include: an appearance at a popular programme on Mapoly Radio 99.7FM Abeokuta, sight-seeing and resort exploration at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), amongst other activities slatee to hold at Iwe Iroyin.
He added that the Global Village Executives led by Villager Ridwan Onitolo, had also invited a former Head of Department, Mass Communication, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Dr. Kolawole Amos, a Lecturer and friend of the Villagers as special guest in a bid to interact and enjoy together. He concluded.
