According to eyewitness accounts, the brothers had a heated and intense disagreement over a missing phone in Abuja, which tragically escalated into a violent and twisted form of punishment.
Following the disturbing incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, the two brothers in Zaria, Nigeria, have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the brutal and inhumane act of burying their sibling alive.
The victim, Abubakar, was rescued in a dramatic turn of events after a good Samaritan stumbled upon his head protruding from a hole in an abandoned property.

The State Commissioner of Human Services and Social Development, Rabi Salisu, expressed his utter dismay and condemnation of the incident, stating, "I have never seen someone buried alive apart from seeing in the film. This is a horrific act that will not be taken lightly."

The police have confirmed that the suspects, Abdulkadir and Abdulkadir, have confessed to the crime and are currently in custody, awaiting trial.
